Ron’s leadership journey started early on in life when he held the Presidents Office of his Fraternity (Sigma Nu) from 1984-1986 while attending CSULA. Ron took his leadership to another level as he entered the USMC in 1988. Mr. Stevenson went on to be a Reconnaissance Team Leader and led teams in combat in Somalia 1992-1993. Ending active service in 1994, Ron went on to build two successful businesses with his wife Frankie in Las Vegas, NV. Ron was able to transcend his team work concept learned under austere conditions to the softball coaching realm in 2023 where he took on the role of assistant coach for three 12U, one 12U B select and one 14U team before starting his own A ball travel team as head coach.
Jessica is a highly experienced addition to our coaching staff. Born in Southern California, her softball journey began at the age of seven, encompassing All-Star teams, Travel Ball, and earning a starting position on her high school Varsity team as a freshman. She went on to compete at the collegiate level in the SEC at the University of Kentucky, where she honed her skills, game IQ, and grit necessary for success at the highest levels of the sport.
Jessica's passion for softball extends beyond the game itself, emphasizing the importance of dedication and preparation both on and off the field. In addition to her coaching role, she is a successful entrepreneur, owning two thriving real estate businesses in Las Vegas. Her multifaceted expertise and drive inspire the next generation of athletes to excel both in sports and in life.
Tyson was a multi sport athlete in school playing football, baseball and rugby. He chose to pursue rugby playing in the D1 and D2 club circuits in Southern California and New Zealand. He eventually became a positions coach for a Men’s rugby club in Las Vegas before becoming a youth baseball coach in 2022. He continues to be a student of the exciting sport of softball trying to bridge the gap between what he knows in baseball and other team sports. He is excited to see how far this group of talented young women can push themselves beyond their point of comfortability.
Steve brings a wealth of experience and a rich athletic background to the team. In his 20s and 30s, he played arena football and participated on numerous softball teams. He has dedicated over a decade to coaching his children’s sports, including 12 years with his son’s baseball and football teams, 9 years with his eldest daughter in softball, and 7 years with his youngest daughter in softball. Steve is committed to fostering skill development and teamwork while inspiring a love for the game in every child he coaches. He believes in the power of sports to create opportunities and is passionate about teaching perseverance, discipline, and teamwork—all while ensuring kids have fun along the way.
